Blog on 'Rock On' !

I was chillin' at my crib this saturday night but my friends were having some diffirent plans for that night. 'Rock On' the movie was at the screen at our near by multiplex so we decided to go and watch it for once. At first i was confused that should i accompany them or not? Because i dont like bollywood movies at all. They are just too absurd to watch except few and this movie is one of those few good movies you can certainly go and watch out.

As Indian youth nowdays are descending towards western music so that would help this movie to do good at box office. But this movie is clearly not for masses its for certain section only especially for Metalheads as it is first rock music flick made in bollywood. Farhan Akhtar did managed with all the songs quite beautifully. The music is something that actually came in a positive way for the movie as well as for rock music in India. I can tell you that because many boy's who dont even know what rock music is all about now days this album's songs are ruling their i-pod tracklist. But for me as i am a regular rock listner it was a bit okayish. The basses, drums and guitar used werent upto the limits. But it is first of its kind in India so props for S-E-L trio to make this movie a little more famous among the youths.

The script was decent, direction and cinematography was good. Now its time for king khan to learn' how to make a good movie?' from these kids. And i was LMAO when i saw Anu Malik doing a cameo out there in that movie. Man what the heck was that for. He is a brilliant plagiarist of bollywood and ya'll guys showed him making new tunes and that too of his own. Totally unreal for me to digest that. Anyhow nobody knows may be he is revived now.

Anyways ya'll can also check that movie because it is a pure 'paisa vasool' kind of. Otherwise i wont have told you all about this stuff. It is a decent movie after T.Z.P. And even if you dont want to go for this movie then 'Wednesday' is also a very nice movie to go for. So have fun and dont forget to comment on this blog.

By the way guys i am desperately waiting for 'Max payne', 'Valkyrie' and 'Curious Case Of Benjamin Button'. They will release late 2008 and will be a treat for any movie freak like me.
